ABOUT

My name is Ryan Buzard, DVM.  My family obtained our first show quality Ridgeback in 1986, followed by my first show dog, a Border Terrier in 1988.  After training and exhibiting her to an AKC Championship, I began working with the Ridgebacks.  I was thrilled in 1993 to get my first Ridgeback to raise and train from a puppy, and have been 100% committed to the breed ever since!  

I handled professionally in Conformation from 2001 to 2009, was a veterinary technician from 1998 to 2009, and am currently a licensed veterinarian in Arizona. I am an AKC judge and AKC Breeder of Merit. I am a RRCUS (Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States) member and approved breed mentor.

I am Vice-President of the Lost Dutchman Kennel Club (LDKC), and President of the Arizona Rhodesian Ridgeback Club (ARRC).
